Within the framework of the large-scale modernization of the national communication system, the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency and “Altyn Asyr” CJSC are carrying out planned work to provide the population of Turkmenistan with high-quality communication and Internet services. Currently, transmitting and receiving devices operating in the 4G network are being gradually put into operation throughout the country.
In particular, work was carried out to install 4G devices in the Ahal velayat - the etraps of Babadayhan, Tejen, Kaka, Akbugday, Geokdepe, Baherden and Sarahs. In the Balkan velayat, they started working in the cities of Turkmenbashy, Balkanabat, Gumdag and Hazar, as well as in the etraps of Magtymguly, Serdar, Bereket, Etrek and Esenguly.
In Dashoguz velayat, the city of Dashoguz, as well as the etraps of Georogly, Gubadag, Shabat, Akdepe, Gurbansoltan Eje, Boldumsaz, Kunya Urgench and Turkmenbashy were connected to 4G.
In Mary velayat, the city of Mary, as well as the etraps of Bayramaly, Vekilbazar, Murgab, Turkmengala, Sakarchage, Garagum, Yoleten, Tahtabazar and Serhetabat, were connected to the 4G network.
In Lebap velayat, 4G equipment has been installed in the city of Turkmenabat and the Danev etrap. Work on introducing the technology continues in Chardzhou, Sayat, Halach, Kerki, Devlet, Keytendag, Hojambaz, Farap and Darganata etraps of this region.
The work of the “Turkmenaragatnashyk” Agency is aimed at the successful implementation of the tasks set by the President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov for the communications industry regarding improving the quality and capacity of communication services, the widespread introduction of modern technologies, expanding the range of services provided, taking into account international experience, and ensuring the availability of Internet services for the general public.
