Turkmenabat Garment Factory Sews Textiles Worth Over 52.2 Million Manats

Turkmenabat Garment Factory in Turkmenistan's eastern province of Lebap produced finished products worth over 52.2 million manats in 2022, the country’s official media reported on Thursday.

The factory recently underwent reconstruction and renovation works. New sewing machines of leading enterprises from the US, Germany, Türkiye and China were commissioned at the factory that resulted in increase of labor productivity and output quality, according to the report.

The garment factory is engaged in sewing of overalls, jackets, children's clothes, children's school shirts, aprons, jackets, male and female sportswear, bedding sets, pants and different knitted products.

Turkmenabat Sewing Factory, producing competitive textile products, employs about 500 women.
