Turkmen wrestlers win 4 medals at Belt and Road tournament in China

Turkmen freestyle wrestlers won four medals at the Belt and Road International Tournament, which ended in Xi'an, China. The Turkmenistan team won one gold, one silver and two bronze medals.

Dovlet Orazgylydzhov won the gold medal in the 86 kg weight category. The silver medal went to Ziyamukhammet Saparov (up to 125 kg), and the bronze medalists were Perman Khommadov (up to 70 kg) and Shatlyk Khemelyaev (up to 97 kg).

The competition was attended by athletes from China, five Central Asian countries, including Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, as well as from Azerbaijan and others.
