Turkmen Wool Products Company Expands Its Range of Carpets, Coverlets

Kerwenler Individual Enterprise, the manufacturer of wool products in Turkmenistan, expanded the assortment of its products with new carpets and coverlets.

The new products of the enterprise, located in the industrial zone of Ak Bugday district of Ahal province, include Turkmen ornaments of Hazar, Teke and Yomut. The company's products are environmentally friendly, the major business union of the country Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan (UIET) reported on Monday.

The wool spinning workshop of the company produces wool yarn and wool yarn mixed with polyester from high-quality sheep's wool. The workshop also produces high-quality Turkmen carpets with pure wool. The workshop presently produces around 13 tons of wool yarn a month.

The textile workshop of the enterprise produces kilims and coverlets of different sizes, and woolen and semi-woolen blankets. It produces 156 thousand meters of kilims and coverlets per year. The company has the capacity to produce 10,000 wool blankets per month. The wool products are offered to customers at retail outlets throughout the country.
