A number of international student Olympiads are planned to be held by universities of Turkmenistan in March and April, Deputy Prime Minister for Education Nurmuhammet Amannepesov reported during a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, TDH reports.
From March 3 to 8, the International University of Humanities and Development will hold the IV Open International Olympiad in Mathematics.
From April 15 to 20, the II Open International Olympiad in Informatics will be held at the International University of Oil and Gas named after Yagshigeldi Kakayev.
On April 19, the oil and gas university plans to hold an international scientific and practical conference and exhibition “Scientific views of students in the era of the Renaissance of a new era of a powerful state.”
Along with Turkmen students, students from Russia, the USA, China, Romania, India, Turkey, Belarus, Italy, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan and a number of other countries will also take part in the intellectual competitions.
Foreign students will be introduced to the modern conditions created for Turkmen youth, the organization of studies in the country’s universities and the sights of Ashgabat.
Winners of international Olympiads will be awarded medals and diplomas.
