Turkmen swimmers won silver and bronze in medley relay races at the open championship of Uzbekistan

Turkmen swimmers won silver medals in the 4x100m medley relay at the Uzbekistan Open Swimming Championship in Tashkent. Athletes showed a result of 4 minutes 07,19 seconds.

Gold medals went to representatives of the Republican School of Higher Sportsmanship in water sports (Uzbekistan), who showed a time of 4 minutes 02,66 seconds. The top three (4:07.37) was closed by the swimmers of the Republican Training Center for Olympic and Paralympic Sports (Uzbekistan).

In the same relay race among women, Turkmen swimmers became the third (5:09.09). Gold was won by athletes from the Navoi region of Uzbekistan (4:52.11). The silver was won by the swimmers of the RTSPOVS (5:07.35).

Earlier it was reported that the Turkmen swimmer Merdan Ataev became the owner of the gold medal of the open championship of Uzbekistan in the 200-meter backstroke, and the athlete David Hakobyan brought the bronze medal to the Turkmen team in the 50-meter breaststroke.

Turkmen swimmers are trained by Vladimir Novikov and Mark Pilyugin.
