Four students from Turkmenistan brought home gold and silver from the IV International Financial Security Olympiad, the final of which was held in Sochi (RF), in the federal territory of “Sirius”.
As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the well-deserved title of winner and honorable first place in the nomination “Economics” was won by Jennet Berdyyeva, a 3rd year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
In the same nomination, Aysenem Nuryyeva, a 4th year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, showed a good result and took second place.
The 2nd place in the nomination “Information Security” was awarded to Nurmuhammet Tajimyradov, a 3rd year student of the Magtymguly Turkmen State University.
In the nomination “International Relations” the 2nd place was awarded to Arslan Shaimov, a 3rd year student of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management.
The national team of Turkmenistan consisted of 9 students from the above-mentioned universities and the International University for the Humanities and Development.
In total, 600 participants from different countries of the world competed in the final of the Olympiad, who successfully passed the preliminary selection tests.
During their five days at “Sirius”, the participants attended lectures, interactive workshops, master classes, panel discussions, quizzes, and competitions. They also attended a festival of Russian folk games, participated in the opening of the exhibition “Culture and Traditions of the Peoples of Siberia” and in sports competitions.
The final stage of the Olympiad ended with a ceremonial award ceremony for the winners with the participation of honored guests, the source notes.
