Turkmen State University invites you to participate in the International Chemistry Olympiad

The Magtymguly Turkmen State University invites you to participate in the III International Chemistry Olympiad among students of higher education institutions of Turkmenistan and abroad, which will be held in person from November 25 to 30.

As reported by “Turkmenistan: Golden Age”, the Olympiad is held in the form of individual and team competitions.

The Individual round will divide the participants into two categories A and B (students specializing in chemistry and students of other areas of training) and will be held in two stages. At the first stage, students of category A will be offered problems in inorganic and physical chemistry, at the second stage in organic and analytical chemistry.

For participants of category B, the first stage will be held in the form of testing, the second includes written assignments in chemistry.

For each category, the number of participants from one university should not exceed four students (bachelor’s and specialist) and one supervisor (4 + 1 format).

Any participating university can offer up to three problems as Olympiad assignments. Problems with solutions are accepted until November 10 by e-mail olimptsu@gmail.com.

The winners of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas and medals.

Those wishing to participate in the Olympiad must send an official letter from the university indicating the team composition, as well as a completed registration form and personal sheet by e-mail olimptsu@gmail.com until October 31.
