2.Gismet Fizuli oglu Gezalov has been appointed as the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan.The corresponding Decree was signed by President Ilham Aliyev.
As Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Azerbaijan to Turkmenistan, Gezalov replaced Hasan Sultan oglu Zeynalov, who headed the Azerbaijani diplomatic mission in this Central Asian country since December 23, 2015.

6.A young poet from Turkmenistan, laureate of the Youth Prize Ismail Muhammetdurdyev became the winner of the international literary competition “Altyn Kalemler” (“Golden Pencils”), which is held annually in Türkiye.
The work of Ismail Muhammetdurdyev “First of all - the Motherland” was awarded the corresponding prize in the field of poetry.In total, more than 50 authors from different countries took part in the poetry competition.

Mahri Agamuradova is a talented chess player.This year, she won the title of champion of Turkmenistan in the age categories under 14 and under 13, and also won a two-time silver medal at the Asian Championship among schoolchildren.
Mahri's coach is Reimova Oguljan, who accompanied the young chess player to Moscow.
