Turkmen sambists win five medals on the second day of the Asian Championship in Lebanon

Turkmen athletes won five medals one gold and four bronze on the second day of the competition at the Asian Sports and Combat Sambo Championships in Jounieh (Lebanon). The official FIAS website reports about this.

Teams from more than 20 countries participated in the championship. Competitions are held in two age groups among boys and girls, men and women.

Babajan Ivadullayev won the highest award in combat sambo among men. He achieved this success in the weight category over 98 kg, in which six athletes competed for medals.

“Bronze” was brought to the treasury of the national team of Turkmenistan in the combat sambo tournament Meylis Niyazmenliyev (up to 64 kg), Muhammetniyaz Gurbandurdyev (up to 71 kg), Rustem Penjiyev (up to 79 kg) and Charymyrat Annargurbanov (up to 98 kg).
