Turkmen representatives participated in a seminar on the digitalization of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor

Specialists from the Turkmendenizderyayollary agency (Sea and River Routes of Turkmenistan) took part in the second seminar on the digitalization of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor.

The seminar was held on February 27-28 in Tbilisi in a video conference format.

Among the seminar participants were representatives of the Association of Trans-Caspian Transport Corridors, the digital system, the TRACECA international transport corridor, government agencies and experts from relevant industries.

The workshop aimed to discuss key strategic areas such as governance and accountability, secure data exchange and the regulatory framework required for digital transformation.

Seminar participants considered new ideas for creating mutual connections between digital system initiatives in participating countries.

The possibility of creating a digital system center and pilot projects in each country was also discussed.

As a result of the seminar, the participants put forward proposals for the digitalization of the Trans-Caspian transport corridor, according to the agency’s website.
