Turkmen Producer Exports 200 Tons of Tomatoes to Russia, Kazakhstan

Altyn Gül Individual Enterprise, led by entrepreneur Jorakuly Khemrayev, has exported 200 tons of tomatoes to Russia and Kazakhstan, the official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.

The company's modern greenhouse has reportedly harvested more than 200 tons of tomatoes since the start of the year.

The greenhouse located in Danev district of Lebap province grows Tomato variety Marvelance, as well as cherry tomatoes.

On 2.3 hectares of greenhouses, seedlings are grown on a coconut. Pollination is carried out with the help of Bambus bees specially imported from Turkey in order to increase the yield.

Altyn Gül employing 30 specialists intends to harvest 450 tons of tomatoes.
