Turkmen Private Clothing Brand Aims to Export to Europe, US

Turkmen private enterprise producing textiles under MEBATO brand plans to export its products to the CIS countries, Europe and the United States, the Director of the enterprise Toyly Annayev told in an interview with CentralAsia.news outlet on Wednesday.

According to the Director, the sewing factory located in the city of Bayramaly in Mary velayat has successfully established the production of men's and children's clothing. The enterprise produces 2 thousand pieces of clothing per day utilizing modern Italian and Turkish sewing machines.

The enterprise operates four workshops, producing shirts, trousers, children's clothing and men's undergarments, as well as autumn and winter clothing. The company is also engaged in the production of custom made products for organizations and enterprises, according to Annayev.

The Director said the enterprise purchases materials necessary for production from the domestic Ruhabat Textile Complex and Turkey. Textile products are produced from a 100% cotton fabric and a mixed fabric consisting of 80% cotton and 20% polyester. Fabrics are purchased in small batches in order to change the assortment more often and to work effectively with the turnover.

Founded in 2020, MEBATO currently employs over 200 specialists and intends to increase its workforce in the future.
