President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online cabinet meeting on Friday signed a Decree authorizing the conclusion of the contract to build a plant for producing 100 tons of glass products per day in Gokdepe district of Ahal province.
The contract will be signed between the Ministry of Industry and Construction and Turkmen company Rysgally zähmet. Under the deal, the company will also carry out the improvement of adjacent territory and lay external utility systems of communication, electricity, gas, water and sewage, according to the official Turkmen press.
The document prescribes the start of construction work in July 2022 and commissioning of the workshop with full readiness for operation in July 2025.
The new plant will be part of the Türkmen Aýna Önümleri enterprise, the state producer of glass products in Turkmenistan.
Commissioned in February 2018, Türkmen Aýna Önümleri produces glass for construction purposes and 15 types of different glass containers for the food and medical industries.
