Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov to Visit Tajikistan

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov of Turkmenistan is scheduled to make a working visit to Tajikistan on September 14-15 of this year. The preparations for the upcoming trip were reported by Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers and Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rashid Meredov, during a cabinet meeting on Friday, the official Turkmen media reports.

During his visit to Dushanbe, the capital of Tajikistan, the Head of Turkmenistan will participate in the Fifth Consultative Meeting of Heads of Central Asian States and the meeting of heads of founding states of the International Fund for Saving the Aral Sea (IFAS).

A number of additional events are also planned as part of the summits in Dushanbe, according to the report.

It is anticipated that the meeting will conclude with the signing of a series of documents, with the final declaration of the heads of state being the most significant among them.
