President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the online working meeting on agricultural issues on Monday stressed the need to prepare at the highest level for the execution of mutual settlements with producers for the delivered grain harvest.
The meeting was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government in charge of the agro-industrial complex Esenmyrat Orazgeldiyev, and the governors of the velayats.
The Turkmen President emphasized the importance of providing the population with food and vegetable products. He said it is necessary to take the most decisive measures to grow high yields of potatoes, vegetable and melon crops.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov instructed to increase the pace of work in different parts of the provinces for the commissioning of socio-cultural and industrial facilities.
The Head of State also focused on the need to ensure a high level of work in the wheat fields of the provinces, and prepare agricultural machinery, grain collection points, scales, and vehicles that will be involved in the harvesting.
The meeting focused on the course of seasonal campaigns carried out on the agricultural lands of Turkmenistan.
