Turkmen President Congratulates India on Republic Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent congratulations and best wishes to India’s President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi and all the people of India on the occasion of the country’s National Day Republic Day, the official Turkmen media reports.

"We highly appreciate the established friendly relations between Turkmenistan and the Republic of India, based on openness, mutual respect and mutual trust, and we strongly believe that through joint efforts, the cooperation in political, trade-economic, cultural, humanitarian and other areas will continue to effectively expand and strengthen for the benefit of our peoples," President Serdar Berdimuhamedov said.

The Turkmen President also wished Indian President and Prime Minister strong health, happiness, prosperity, and that the people of India have peace, development and prosperity.

Republic Day of India is a holiday when the country marks and celebrates the date on which the Constitution of India came into effect on January 26, 1950.
