President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov offered his sincere congratulations and best wishes to Alexander Van der Bellen on his re-election as Federal President of Austria.
In the congratulatory letter, the Turkmen President stated Turkmenistan's great interest in further expanding bilateral relations and expressed confidence that deepening mutually beneficial cooperation would make a great contribution to the well-being of the countries’ peoples, the official Turkmen media reports.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov wished President Alexander Van der Bellen good health, happiness and success in all endeavors, and peace, further progress and prosperity to the people of Austria.
Alexander Van der Bellen won the Austrian presidential elections with about 56 percent of the vote. He was first elected Austrian Federal President in December 2016.
