Turkmen President Congratulated His Ukrainian Counterpart on Independence Day

President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov has sent congratulations and best wishes to President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky on the occasion of Ukraine's Independence Day, the official Turkmen media reported on Wednesday.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov addressed his wishes for good health, well-being and success in state activity to President Zelensky.

Ukraine declared independence on August 24, 1991, and this date is annually celebrated in the country.

Diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and Ukraine were established on October 10, 1992.
