Turkmen President Serdar Berdimuhamedov took part in celebrations marking the commissioning of the new stage of Myalikguly Berdimuhamedov cottage complex on Thursday.
The new cottage complex of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan is located in Choganly residential area of Ashgabat’s Bagtiyarlyk etrap, the country's official media reports.
The opening ceremony was also attended by heads of military and law enforcement agencies.
The houses were built by a construction company under the Ministry of Interior. Each two-storey cottage consists of five spacious rooms.
Then President Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with an exhibition of fruits and vegetables, foodstuff produced in the subsidiary farms of military and law-enforcement agencies in all regions of the country.
After the exhibition, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov emphasized the need to continue taking appropriate steps to improve the activities of the auxiliary farms subordinate to the law enforcement agencies.
