President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov during the cabinet meeting on Friday announced the appointment of his advisors on agriculture, and oil and gas issues.
Annageldy Yazmyradov became the Advisor to the President of Turkmenistan on Agriculture Issues. Previously he held different leadership posts, including the posts of Deputy Chairman of the Turkmen Government in charge of the agro-industrial complex, the Minister of Agriculture and Water Resources.
The Head of State picked Ashirguly Begliyev as his Advisor on Oil and Gas Issues. From 2015-2016, Begliyev headed the Türkmengaz State Concern, the national natural gas producer.
The meeting summed up the results of development of the national economy in the first quarter of this year, featured reports of the deputy chairmen of the cabinet and regional governors and assessed their activities and defined the priorities of socio-economic development of Turkmenistan for the coming period.
