Turkmen musicians won the “Golden Prize” at the World Orchestra Festival in Vienna

From July 25 to 28, the X World Orchestra Festival “One Future” was held in Vienna, where Turkmen musicians took part for the first time and won the “Golden Prize” in the “Chamber Orchestra” category, the Neutral Turkmenistan newspaper reports.

The youth chamber orchestra conducted by Rasul Klychev captivated the audience and jury with their masterful performance of Turkmen melodies and foreign classical works.

The closing ceremony of the festival was held in the famous “Golden Hall” of the Vienna Philharmonic, where Turkmen musicians received the highest jury score forty points. The head of the festival’s creative committee, British conductor Toby Purser, highly appreciated the orchestra’s performance and expressed a desire to organize joint concerts in Turkmenistan.
