Our compatriot Batyr Hojamuhamedov won the bronze of the prestigious judo tournament Agadir Grand Priх in Agadir, the Kingdom of Morocco.
B. Hojamuhamedov demonstrated wrestling skills during qualification round of the competition, having taken over the sportsmen from Ukraine beforehand (on the 18th second). Despite the loss in the quarter final to future winner of the tournament Kirill Denisov from Russia, our wrestler has managed to get to the triumph pedestal.
Turkmen sportsman had to face Patrick Moser from Switzerland in the fight for the bronze. B. Hojamuhamedov made final throw on the third minute of stubborn wrestling and finished the fight beforehand, having gained the highest judo point the ipon.
As the result, Turkmen judo wrestlers won two bronze medals at the Agadir Grand Priх tournament.As it has already been informed, another medal was brought to the collection of national team by Master of Sports of International Class Gulbadam Babamuratova (up to 52 kg).
Our sportswoman has already gained the victory on the second minute of the fight, having made two resultative grips.
