Turkmen IT Company Participates in Digitalization of Turkmenbashi Port’s Operations

The Turkmenistan-based company Sanly Çözgüt IT Meýdança presented the new software allowing real-time applications for the services of the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, located on the coast of the Caspian Sea.

The presentation took place on Monday during an interdepartmental working meeting of Turkmen government entities and private sector representative on simplification of customs procedures at the port, the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan said in its press release.

The meeting was attended by officers of the State Customs Service, representatives of the Agency for Transport and Communications under the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan, customs brokers carrying out customs operations at the Turkmenbashi port, as well as specialists of Sanly Çözgüt IT Meýdança and Asman Oky companies involved in the digitalization of customs procedures in Turkmenistan.

The meeting exchanged views on the issue of integration of this software and the cyber technologies implemented in the customs authorities of the country.

The participants also discussed more ways to improve operations at the Turkmenbashi International Seaport, which is considered as an important logistics complex to increase the country's competitiveness in the system of international maritime transport.
