Turkmen Ginnery Processes Around 140 Tons of Row Cotton Daily

Cotton ginning enterprise in Turkmengala etrap of Turkmenistan’s Mary velayat processes around 130-140 tons of raw cotton a day, Bereketli Toprak newspaper reported on Tuesday.

The plant, which was commissioned 25 years ago, is currently equipped with the latest technology from leading foreign manufacturers.

The enterprise, employing 300 people, has the design capacity of processing 45 thousand tons of medium staple cotton.

Last year, Turkmen cotton farmers fulfilled the state order, harvesting 1.25 million tons of raw cotton.
