Turkmen fighters won a series of outstanding victories in the international arena in 2024

Athletes from Turkmenistan demonstrate impressive results on the international stage in 2024. Since the beginning of the year, Turkmen MMA fighters have won a number of significant victories in various tournaments without suffering a single defeat.

The latest success was the victory of Eziz Penjiyev at the Fight Nights RDD Series tournament on August 4. The Turkmen fighter defeated his Tajik opponent Nurali Jobirov by choke in the second round. This is already the fourth professional victory in Penjiyev’s career.

Other Turkmen fighters also performed successfully. In mid-June, Turkmenistan K1 champion Shazada Atayev knocked out Russian Andrei Baranovsky at the Fight Nights tournament in Ulyanovsk. In February, Abdulla Babayev, an international master of sports in combat sambo, defeated the Tajik fighter Abdulaziz Yuldoshev at the AMC Fight Nights 123 tournament.

Dovletjan Yagshimuradov also achieved significant success. On June 22, he defeated Cameroonian Simon Biyong at PFL 5 in the United States by unanimous decision, securing a spot in the PFL Light Heavyweight Grand Prix playoffs. And on April 13, Yagshimuradov won by technical knockout over Slovenian Jacob Nedo at the PFL 2 tournament in Las Vegas.

In addition, Hursand Imankuliyev won a convincing victory at the Pulse UP Boxing tournament in Moscow.
