A Turkmen delegation will participate in the third Tashkent International Investment Forum (TIIF), scheduled for May 2-3, 2024, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, according to the Government Portal of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
TIIF will provide an opportunity to explore Uzbekistan's business trends, engage in the development of a new generation of Uzbek entrepreneurs, implement projects based on logistics development, interact with business and government circles, and serve as a platform to access the markets of Central Asia.
According to the forum's press service, speakers at the event will include President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev, Vice President of Türkiye Cevdet Yılmaz, Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic, Head of the Administration of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Akylbek Japarov, Minister of Energy of Saudi Arabia Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman Al Saud, Minister of Economy of the United Arab Emirates Abdullah bin Tuk Al-Marri, and others.
Turkmenistan will be represented at TIIF by the Minister of Finance and Economy of Turkmenistan Serdar Jorayev.
This year, nearly 2,500 participants from 84 countries are expected to attend: government officials, major businesses, representatives of the UN, EBRD, OPEC, and SCO.
The Tashkent International Investment Forum is an international event showcasing the high growth potential of Uzbekistan and other markets in Central Asia. Founded in 2022, the forum aims to facilitate cooperation and deal-making with international partners for the long-term sustainable growth and development of the region.
