Turkmen Delegates Participate in Conference on Pharmaceutical Regulation

Representatives from Turkmenistan's Ministry of Health and Medical Industry attended the 19th International Conference of Drug Regulatory Authorities (ICDRA), held in New Delhi from October 14 to 18, 2024, as reported by Turkmenistan's official media on Tuesday.

The event was organized by India’s Central Drugs Standard Control Organization and the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, with support from the World Health Organization (WHO).

This year, participants discussed the theme "Smart Regulation: Ensuring Quality Medical Products for All."

The Turkmen delegation also took part in a WHO partner meeting focused on pharmacovigilance.

Since its inception in 1980, the ICDRA has served as a key platform for exchanging experiences and developing joint approaches to the regulation of pharmaceuticals.
