Aýbölek furniture factory in Turkmenistan exported its furniture products for the first time. School desk and chair sets of the factory were shipped to the neighboring country of Kazakhstan.
Chary Chariyev, the broadcaster of the international news department of the Altyn Asyr: Türkmenistan TV channel told Business Turkmenistan that the school desk and chair sets of the factory will be used in a new modern school for 720 students near the Kazakh National University in Alma Ata.
Aýbölek furniture factory includes several workshops, warehouses and a retail store. It houses a woodworking shop, a metalworking shop, a warehouse of special purpose and other shops. The furniture factory employs over 150 people.
Meretmuhammet Tachmuhammedov, founder of the factory, told Chariyev that based on orders from state institutions, the factory produces furniture for homes, schools and kindergartens, desks, chairs, cabinets, as well as necessary furniture for health care, education, military and security agencies.
In preparation for the new academic year, the factory manufactured 10 thousand desks and 20 thousand chairs for Turkmen schools.
Recently, the factory's products were awarded the 2022 Quality Choice Prize of the European Society for Quality Research.
Aýbölek furniture factory producing environmentally friendly and high quality furniture products was opened in 2010.
