Turkmen Company Aims to Export Its Fruit, Vegetable Conserves

Turkmenistan’s Ýakyn Dost Economic Society plans to export vegetable and fruit conserves produced under its Garaja and Bagban brands.

The company’s production facility, located in Kerki etrap of Lebap velayat, is equipped with modern machinery from Turkey and is designed to can 1 million jars per year, the country’s Rysgal newspaper reported on Monday.

The company produces 8 types of jams and preserves from different fruits, as well as canned cucumbers, tomatoes and cabbage. The enterprise has also established the production of different flavors of tomato ketchup.

Commissioned in September 2018, Ýakyn Dost’s production facility presently employs more than 30 people.
