Turkmen Commodity Exchange Records Over $53 Million in Trades

State Commodity and Raw Materials of Turkmenistan (SCRMET) realized deals on low-sulfur fuel oil, urea B grade, and gasoline of A-92 grade for a total amount of $53.17 million during Thursday's trades.

Businesses from the UAE, Malta, and the British Virgin Islands bought 100 thousand tons of low-sulfur fuel oil worth $40.35 million with a ton price of $403.5, according to the SCRMET.

Afghani and Emirati entrepreneurs purchased 16 thousand tons of urea B grade, the price of one ton of which amounted to $248. The total value of the deals amounted to $3.968 million.

Businessmen from the UAE and Afghanistan purchased 12 thousand 300 tons of gasoline of A-92 grade for a total amount of $8.699 million. The price of one ton of the product sold amounted to $707.25.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to $27.372 million.
