Turkmen Cinema Days Begin in Tbilisi

The Turkmen Cinema Days, organized by the Embassy of Turkmenistan in cooperation with the Georgian Film Academy, opened in Tbilisi on November 22, 2024. The event is dedicated to the 300th anniversary of poet Makhtumkuli Fragi.

The opening began with the screening of "The Composer" directed by Maksat Gylyjov. The program also features films "Istarin" by Arslan Aeberdiev and "Red Kurte" by Sahysalyh Bayramov.

The opening ceremony was attended by the Ambassador of Turkmenistan Dovletmyrat Seyitmammedov and President of the Georgian Film Academy Nikoloz Abramishvili. The event brought together representatives of ministries, diplomatic missions, creative intelligentsia, and students.

The screenings of Turkmen films will continue until November 24, 2024.
