Turkmen chemists have developed their own way to enrich iron ore

Scientists of the Institute of chemistry of Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan introduced to the cement industry of the country's own way of dressing Gyzylgaya iron-containing ore deposits, according to "Turkmenistan: Golden age".

The method has already been patented by the State service for intellectual property of the Ministry of Finance and economy of Turkmenistan. It allows you to enrich local raw materials with 40% of the iron oxide content in the ore mass, which is necessary for the production of cement.

This method involves increasing the percentage of iron oxide in the ore ground to a certain size by repeatedly wetting it with water and separating colloidal particles. Iron oxide for cement production was previously purchased abroad, but now local raw materials have completely replaced the imported analog.

This is the first time such an experiment has been carried out in Turkmenistan.

Chemical scientists together with “Turkmengeologiya” intend to use the minerals of the Tuarkyr mining region and provided assistance in the extraction of iron-containing raw materials from the Chagyl Deposit.
