Turkmen Carpet Weaving Enterprise in Halach Increases Its Production

Turkmen carpet weaving enterprise in Halach etrap of Turkmenistan’s Lebap velayat produced 9,299 square meters of products last year. The growth rate compared to 2019 amounted to 106%.

According to Neytralny Turkmenistan newspaper’s Wednesday issue, the enterprise recently inaugurated its new workshop with all the necessary infrastructure facilities. The modern workshop was built by the domestic Altyn Gum Individual Enterprise by order of the Türkmenhaly Production Association.

Last year, the enterprise also launched the production of round carpets. The plant presently successfully executes the second order of this kind for the Türkmenhaly Production Association.

In addition, the enterprise has produced several giant carpets of 60 square meters and more.

The company currently employs 2,300 people. With the aim of expanding production, the company builds its branch in Guych Birleshik village. The commissioning of the branch will create additional 100 jobs.
