Turkmen Businesses Buy 17.59 Million Manats Worth of Polypropylene

During Tuesday auctions at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan (SCRMET), local businesses 733 tons of TPP D 30 S grade polypropylene. The total amount of transactions exceeded 17.59 million manats.

The cost of a ton of polypropylene amounted to 24 thousand manats, according to the SCRMET.

In addition, a company from Kazakhstan purchased 1,000 tons of TPP D 30 S grade polypropylene at a price of $1,000 per ton. The total amount of the transaction was $1 million.

The business circles of Turkey and China signed deals on the purchase of yarn and plain-dyed and terry jacquard products for a total of more than $1.12 million.

Last week, the total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the SCRMET amounted to more than $48.45 million.
