Turkmen Ambassador Presents His Credentials to King of Netherlands

Ambassador of Turkmenistan to Belgium, the Kingdom of the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Sapar Palvanov presented his credentials to King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands on Wednesday, the Turkmen Embassy in Belgium reported in its press release for media.

The Turkmen diplomat thanked the King of the Netherlands for his time and conveyed warm words of welcome and best wishes from President of Turkmenistan Serdar Berdimuhamedov and the Turkmen people.

During the meeting, Sapar Palvanov assured that he would help strengthen and deepen mutually beneficial cooperation between the two countries.

King of the Netherlands Willem-Alexander thanked the President of Turkmenistan and the Turkmen people for warm greetings, good wishes and emphasized that Netherlands is interested in further development of bilateral relations with Turkmenistan.

The sides stressed that the two countries have great potential for cooperation in the economic sphere and that they will contribute to elevating mutually beneficial relations to a new level.

The parties also agreed to work together in areas such as trade and economics, energy, agriculture, and digitalization. King Willem-Alexander emphasized that the country's large, developed companies will be interested in Turkmen market.

Moreover, during the meeting, King Willem-Alexander stated that Turkmenistan was strategically located in terms of transportation and logistics, and that it could serve as a main corridor connecting Central Asia and Europe.

The Turkmen ambassador emphasized the importance of developing a cooperation format that would bring the two countries' business communities together.

At the end of the meeting, King Willem-Alexander and Ambassador Sapar Palvanov expressed confidence that relations between Turkmenistan and Netherlands would continue to improve in all directions.
