The International Federation of Football History and Statistics (IFFHS) has published its annual ranking of the world's top 500 football clubs for the period from 1 July 2023 to 30 June 2024.
Of the Turkmen teams, only Ashgabat “Altyn Asyr” was included in the rating. The eight-time champion of the Major League of Turkmenistan took 420th place.
It is worth noting the club’s progress: in the previous ranking, “Altyn Asyr” occupied 428th position, so the team moved up 8 lines.
The leaders of the ranking are the European giants: “Real Madrid”, “Manchester City”, “Bayer Leverkusen” and “Atalanta”.
When compiling the rankings, IFFHS takes into account the performance of teams in continental, intercontinental and national tournaments.
