Turkish Airlines, known for its extensive route network, has announced an ambitious plan to introduce free unlimited Wi-Fi on all its flights. The service is expected to be available to all passengers by the end of 2025.
According to the company, a major fleet upgrade will be carried out over the next two years using the latest in-flight communications (IFC) technology to provide passengers with uninterrupted, high-speed internet connections throughout their flights.
To implement this project, Turkish Airlines is actively negotiating with local and international IFC technology providers.Particular attention is paid to supporting Turkish companies in developing solutions for this service.
As part of this initiative, the airline signed a Memorandum of Understanding with TCI Aircraft Interiors and Turksat, which underlines the desire to use the national potential in the development of the aviation industry.
Turkish Airlines representatives noted that the introduction of free Wi-Fi on all flights is part of a strategy to improve service quality and meet the growing digital needs of passengers while traveling.
