Turkish Airlines launches flights to Santiago

Turkish Airlines, the national carrier of Türkiye, has announced the expansion of its route network in the Americas. From December 18, 2024, the company will begin operating scheduled flights to Santiago, the capital of Chile, which will become the airline's 26th destination in the Americas and the 10th country served in the region.

The new route will operate four times a week with a stopover in Sao Paulo in both directions. This decision will not only strengthen Turkish Airlines’ presence in South America, but will also provide travelers with convenient access to one of the continent’s most dynamic cities.

Turkish Airlines Chairman of the Board and the Executive Committee Professor Ahmet Bolat stressed the importance of the new direction for the company's global strategy. He noted that the launch of flights to Santiago demonstrates the carrier's commitment to expanding its network and improving connectivity across continents and cultures.

The new route will not only facilitate travel between Türkiye and Chile, but will also provide passengers from all over the world with the opportunity to explore the beauty of South America with a convenient stopover in Istanbul. Tickets for the new flight are already available for booking through Turkish Airlines official channels.
