TULM has launched an express container train on the Dubai-Moscow route

On October 9, 2024, the open joint-stock company “Transport and Logistics Center of Turkmenistan” (TULM) sent an express container train along the Dubai-Moscow route, strengthening its position on the international North-South transport corridor.

The operation of reloading containers from third-country wagons to CIS wagons was successfully completed at the Etrek loading and unloading station. After that, the train continued its journey to the Russian Federation.

TULM is actively developing container transportation within the North-South corridor, constantly increasing the volume of cargo transportation on this route. The company plans to continue to carry out weekly dispatches of express container trains on this route.

Regular container shipping on the Dubai-Moscow route through Turkmenistan highlights the country's strategic geographical position and its potential as a transport hub connecting Asia and Europe.
