Türkmengeologiýa Explores For Drinking Water Reserves in Turkmenistan

Specialists from the Türkmengeologiýa (Turkmen Geology) State Corporation are currently engaged in hydrogeological exploration to locate and identify potential drinking water reserves in Turkmenistan, according to official Turkmen media.

During the regular online meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Friday, Batyr Amanov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan overseeing the country's fuel and energy complex, reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on the ongoing efforts by Türkmengeologiýa to discover drinking water deposits.

President Berdimuhamedov stressed the urgency of finding and identifying drinking water deposits, emphasizing the importance of conducting scientific research in this field. He also acknowledged the significance of the practical work carried out by the Türkmengeologiýa State Corporation and issued directives to reinforce its material and technical base as necessary.

The government meeting also addressed draft documents and other related matters.
