Representatives of the Türkmendeňizderýaýollary (Turkmen Maritime and River Transport) Agency and Petronas Carigali (Turkmenistan) Sdn Dhd last Monday held a meeting to discuss establishment of cooperation on shipbuilding projects, the press service of the agency reports.
In the course of the meeting, the parties also exchanged views on further development of bilateral mutually beneficial cooperation and repair of floating facilities.
Representatives of the Petronas were introduced to the capabilities and capacities of Balkan shipyard. The company officials noted the expediency of establishing cooperation on repair of ships and floating facilities at the shipyard.
In particular, the representatives of the company expressed their willingness to cooperate in repairing two floating platforms at the shipyard, namely an oil production platform and an oil storage tanker.
At the end of the meeting, the parties stated that they are ready for further expansion of cooperation in the field of shipbuilding and will make every effort to achieve their goals.
