TSU teachers deliver online lectures for students in Astrakhan

Lecturers of the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli (TSU) delivered an online lecture for students of the Astrakhan State University (ASU). The event was organized with the support of the Consulate of Turkmenistan in Astrakhan and was dedicated to the 25th anniversary of Neutrality of Turkmenistan.

The rectors of the two universities, as well as the heads of the Turkmen diplomatic mission and the Agency for International Relations of the Astrakhan region delivered opening addresses. A video about modern Turkmenistan was presented to the Russian audience.

Burynov Atadjan, Professor, Head of the Department of Social Sciences, TSU, and Bike Divankuliyeva, Candidate of Historical Sciences, Senior Lecturer of the Department of Archeology and Ethnology, TSU, delivered lectures for Astrakhan students.

They gave coverage to the Turkmen model of applying the legal foreign policy status of neutrality in the practice of modern international relations, as well as the historical prerequisites for the country’s election of this status.

The lectures are also published on special online portal and are freely available to youth.

At the end of the lectures, there were question-answer section so the Astrakhan students could ask the teachers of TSU on any matter of concern.
