TSIEM held the II Open International Internet Olympiad on the World Economy

The Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management hosted the II Open International Internet Olympiad on the World Economy, in which 82 students from 21 higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and 48 students from 13 foreign universities took part.

The Olympiad participants were given 120 minutes to solve ten problems. As a result, 45 prizes were awarded: 11 first, 16 second and 18 third. Students of Turkmen universities won 1 first, 5 second and 9 third places, demonstrating good results.

Prize-winning places were also taken by students from Germany, Russia, Belarus, Armenia, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan.

Among the winners from the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management are 3rd year student of the direction “World Economy” Atamyrat Amanov, 4th year student of the direction “Finance” Dovletmyrat Tejenov and 2nd year student of the direction “Commodity Science” Novruz Batyrov, who took second place, as well as a 2nd year student direction “Economics and Labor Market” Ilyas Yagshigeldiyev, who became the third.
