Trades at Turkmen Exchange For February Week 1: $39 Million

The total amount of transactions concluded in foreign currency at the auctions of the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan over the past week exceeded $52 million.

For foreign currency, the Emirati and Swiss businesses purchased low sulfur fuel oil produced at Turkmenbashi Complex of Oil Refineries, while the Afghan businesses bought ECO-93 gasoline of Türkmenhimiýa (Turkmen Chemicals) State Concern, the official media of Turkmenistan reported on Monday.

For the domestic market, local businesses purchased high-density polyethylene (HDPE) and hand-made carpets for over 53.79 million manats.

The State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan registered a total of 36 transactions last week.
