The value of Iran’s exports to Turkmenistan in the first nine months of the current Iranian calendar year (March 21-December 21) increased by 35.34 percent compared to the same period of last year, the Iranian Mehr news agency reported last Monday with reference to the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA).
During the period, Turkmenistan and Iran traded 1.03 million tons of products worth $358.85 million.
Iran's total trade turnover period with Caspian Sea littoral states in the first nine months reached 5.1 million tons worth $2.76 billion, a 10.04 percent rise in value compared to the similar period of last year.
Russia was Iran’s main trading partner among the Caspian states during the period with 2.86 million tons of products worth $1.63 billion (down 1.75%)
Iran’s exports to the Caspian littoral states exceeded $1.52 billion during the period, registering a 6.24 percent rise.
