Trade turnover between Türkiye and Turkmenistan increased by 16% in eight months of 2024

In January-August 2024, the volume of bilateral trade between Türkiye and Turkmenistan reached 1,532 billion USD, which is 16% more than in the same period last year. This was reported by Turkish Ambassador to Turkmenistan Ahmet Demirok in his article published in the “Neutral Turkmenistan” newspaper.

According to the diplomat, the total volume of trade between the two countries in 2023 amounted to 2,6 billion USD. In the near future, the countries plan to achieve an ambitious goal of increasing trade turnover to 5 billion USD.
