Torch of the 1968 Olympics sold at auction

At the auction, the torch of the 1968 Winter Olympics, which was held in the French city of Grenoble, was sold for 187,5 thousand USD, the “MIR 24” information portal reports.

Bidding was held at the PR Auction.

The torch is made of rose gold (an alloy of a small part of gold with a large part of silver and copper) with a felt handle. In total, there are 33 such torches in the world.
