Tokyo to Host Turkmen-Japanese Business Forum For SME

Turkmen-Japanese business forum aimed at small and medium enterprises is scheduled to be held in Tokyo, Japan, on March 27, 2024.

Batyr Atdayev, Deputy Chairman of the Turkmenistan’s Cabinet of Ministers overseeing trade complex and textile industry, reported to President Serdar Berdimuhamedov during a regular online government meeting on Friday about the preparations for the Turkmen-Japanese business forum with the participation of representatives of small and medium enterprises.

As reported by Turkmenistan's official media, the Vice Premier noted that the forum would explore opportunities for bilateral cooperation in investments, industry, transportation, logistics, and the private sector.

Atdayev also reported on the ongoing work to establish the National Pavilion of Turkmenistan at the upcoming World Expo 2025 in Japan. The Head of State emphasized the importance of the upcoming Turkmen-Japanese business forum in Tokyo and instructed the Vice Premier to ensure its high organizational standards.

The government meeting also addressed several priority issues of state affairs.
