FIFA futsal referee Timur Ramazanov and the head of the refereeing corps of the Football Federation of Turkmenistan, AFC instructor Vadim Baratov took part in the elite refereeing seminar of the Asian Football Confederation, which was held in the capital of Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur, from July 11 to 15.
As part of the seminar, the new rules of the game of futsal for 2023-2024 were considered. Both theoretical and practical classes took place. Participants took various tests, including fitness training.
It should be noted that Timur Ramazanov joined the referees, and Vadim Baratov became the inspectors who will serve the upcoming matches of the CAFA Futsal Cup-2023 tournament.
Competitions will be held from July 23 to July 28 in the Multifunctional Sports Complex of Dushanbe - the Palace of Tennis and Water Sports. Teams from six countries of the region - Tajikistan, Iran, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkmenistan and Afghanistan will take part in the first tournament among national futsal teams under the auspices of CAFA.
